Scheepjes River Washed, sport/5ply, 50g

The striking Scheepjes River Washed yarn range has been created in the same way as the popular Scheepjes Stone Washed, with its key difference being the coloured (rather than white) inner fibre which, like Stone Washed, is surrounded by a contrastingly coloured net. The result: a uniquely expressive Sport weight yarn with a tactile and rustic quality. Giving all projects a tough and contemporary look, Scheepjes River Washed is the ideal yarn for creating a range of wearable items that transition through the changing seasons with ease.

Made from a 78% Cotton and 22% Acrylic blend, this yarn is simultaneously soft, breathable, highly durable and has a wonderful woolly look & feel. It's also the perfect yarn for those with a sensitive touch looking for a wool-free alternative to wool. The Scheepjes River Washed range is suitable for needle/hook size 3.00-3.50mm and is also available in a heavier XL range, suitable for 5.00mm needles/hooks. Each ball weighs 50 grams and has a length of 130 metres. Gentle machine wash in warm water. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
