Made from a 60% Cotton and 40% Acrylic blend, create garments, homeware items and accessories that are simultaneously lightweight, breathable and stand-out with a beautiful drape. Unlike other gradient yarns, Scheepjes Whirl has a generous twist to enable speed while working the yarn and to help prevent splitting. Each colourway also has a unique twisted ply which adds to the distinctiveness of each colourway. At each colour change, the fibres have been tied by hand leaving a subtle fluff or fuzz buzz, which will hide discretely between your stitches, giving you a smooth, flawless finish with a characteristic flavour! 

The extra-large Scheepjes Whirl yarn cakes hold an enormous 1000 metres of softly colour changing yarn; more than enough for a large shawl or wrap. Scheepjes Whirl is a Fingering weight yarn suitable for needle/hook sizes 3.50-4.00mm. 

Elongate the gradient effect of Scheepjes Whirl with the matching Whirlette yarns! Sharing the same weight as the Whirls, Whirlette is designed to match with either the innermost or outermost (or both) shade(s) of the Whirl colourways, making it possible to create even larger projects!
