Opal Vincent Van Gogh is a wear-resistant 4-ply yarn made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide in 6 unique impressionistic colourways based on Van Gogh paintings.

It is perfectly suitable for knitting socks with unique colour patterns, but also brilliant for jumpers, hats, gloves or scarves. With one ball of this yarn, you can knit one pair of socks (up to size 44).

Vincent van Gogh often carried out colour experiments with balls of wool for his paintings - Opal, on the other hand, was inspired by Van Gogh's paintings. This gorgeous collection, based on paintings such as Starry Night, Café Terrace at Night, Vase with Twelve Sunflowers and Bedroom in Arles, is the result. The colour palette of a particular painting is always incorporated in the 8 colours of the yarn collection
