Cahlista means particularly beautiful and Scheepjes Cahlista certainly meets that quality. Scheepjes Cahlista is a non-mercerized yarn made of pure cotton that does not split thanks to the strong twist, but still falls beautifully supple. This soft and breathable yarn is suitable for crocheting or knitting various projects, such as baby and toddler clothes, shawls, amigurumi or home accessories. The yarn is double gassed, which means that any excess cotton fibers have been removed through a process in which the yarn is passed through a flame twice. This produces an exceptionally smooth yarn that glides wonderfully smoothly over the crochet hook or knitting needles. 

Scheepjes Cahlista has the EN 71-3 quality mark, which indicates that this yarn is safe to use for people with sensitive skin, including babies and children. Completely biological wastewater treatment was used during production, so that the used water is recycled and reused in a safe manner.
